GELID presents the WING 14 UV Blue, a new UV reactive 140mm case fan with Nanoflux bearing. The fan delivers up to 80CFM and it features a waterproof design, which should enable you to clean it more easily. The WING 14 UV Blue should be available soon in retail stores for $20 (15.40EUR).
The WING 14 UV Blue (140mm case fan) was added to the series of multi-award winning WING 8, 9 and 12 UV Blue. Matching the other WING fans this fan is created especially for gamers and modders and features a unique Nanoflux bearing whose motor bearing is not only water - and dustproof but also allows the impeller to be removed for cleaning. The 11 fan blades with additional winglet design were created to achieve an airflow of approx. 80CFM by a fan speed of 1200 RPM. The fan also enables a great static pressure and is UV reactive. Even the slightest vibrations generated by the running fan will be absorbed by 4 Anti-vibration fan mounts which are provided in addition to traditional screws. Further a fan speed reduction cable is included in the package to lower the fan speed to a super silent 900 RPM.

The patented Nanoflux bearing (NFB) incorporates a clever magnetic design, very high precision manufacturing and runs friction-free and operates noiseless. Electromagnetic fields are exploited to keep solid parts from touching. The load is carried by a magnetic field. The Nanotechnology composite ensures lowest abrasion and extreme durability (MTTF 100’000 hours). Compared to other Magnetic bearings this technology allows the impeller to be detached and thus the fan blades can be cleaned easily. The nano composite material is self lubricating and even waterproof. Compared to sleeve and ball bearing the high precision self-lubricated material of GELID’s Nanoflux bearing eliminates oil leakage.
