DigiTimes reports Pegatron Technology is suing a former employee because he/she allegedly revealed notebook-related trade secrets to Asustek:
Pegatron Technology has confirmed recent speculation that the company is suing a former employee, alleging he/she revealed Pegatron's trade secrets to Asustek Computer. The company declined to comment further on the case.

Industry sources speculated that Pegatron's decision to file suit against the employee, but not Asustek, could mean that Pegatron does not wish to damage its client/supplier relationship with Asustek.

However, since Pegatron was originally a wholly-owned subsidiary of Asustek, the case could still affect the two firms' relationship in the future, the sources pointed out.
