TechARP received some slides that detail NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce 260 series drivers. This new release has a new driver installer and promises big performance boosts for the GeForce GTX 400 series.
This slide shows a variety of benchmarks and the frame rate improvements that can be expected from those games. Overall, NVIDIA claims that the Release 260 drivers will improve the performance of GeForce 400 series graphics cards by 10-15%.

The Release 260 drivers also feature improved SLI scaling. As NVIDIA showed us in the GeForce GTS 450 presentation, the new Release 260 drivers enable SLI scaling of 90-95%. This should be great news for users of older graphics cards. You can almost double the performance of your current NVIDIA graphics card by purchasing a similar card and running the two cards in SLI mode.
