ASUS reveals two AMD-based Eee PC netbooks

ASUS introduced the 10.1" Eee PC 1015T and 12.1" Eee PC 1215T, both systems are based on AMD's Nile platform and feature ATI Radeon HD 425 integrated graphics.
ASUS today announces the launch of two new Eee PC™s that feature the AMD® Nile platform processor. The 10.1-inch Eee PC™ 1015T comes with the AMD® Nile platform V105 processor, while the 12.1-inch Eee PC™ 1215T has the K125 processor.

Designed to deliver the perfect multimedia experience, both the Eee PC™ 1015T and 1215T come with the ATI Radeon™ HD 4250 graphics processor with SO-DIMM DDR III. With the AMD® Nile platform, each model delivers performance that exceeds that of the CULV processors found in the market today.

The ATI Radeon™ HD 4250 graphics processor embedded in the RS880M chipset ensures clear and crisp visuals, while the HDMI output port lets users enjoy Full HD 1080p video playback on an HDTV or projector.

Uncompromised Battery Performance
ASUS Super Hybrid Engine power management technology automatically optimizes the notebook’s power requirements at any given point to prolong battery life to up to 6 hours.

A Multitude of Connectivity Options
The Eee PC™ 1015T and 1215T come with features designed to enhance an already exceptional multimedia experience.

802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity gives users faster surfing speeds and higher throughput when compared to 802.11b/g standards. Webcams on each model also have camera covers for additional privacy.
