NVIDIA has no plans for European retail cards

FUD Zilla spoke to NVIDIA and heard that the company has no plans to enter the European retail market:
According to Nvidia, at this time Nvidia doesn’t have any plans to launch Nvidia branded cards for European market.

European market is much more segmented and way more complicated than the US market. BestBuy is quite a logical partner as it has shops all around the country and Nvidia branded cards can fill the void since they lost two big names in the last year. BFG is out of the graphics market and Nvidia crossed XFX from its partner list.

Only the low and mid cards are retail. They are doing a "wait and see how it goes" approach. Retail pricing is going to have to get better before people are going to trade a few days waiting for the huge margin differences of a retail store.

We'll see. Nvidia has been in and out of retail several times. We'll see if this one lasts.
