ATI unveils Radeon Xpress 200M

ATI unveiled the Radeon Xpress 200M chipset for Intel PCI Express notebooks. The Radeon Xpress 200M supports all available Intel Pentium M, Intel Celeron and Intel Pentium 4 processors.

Delivering Radeon-class graphics performance and features, Radeon Xpress 200M provides investment protection for next-generation operating systems along with support for DDR2 memory up to 667 MHz. With the addition of PowerPlay 5.0, Radeon Xpress 200M incorporates innovative new power management functionality such as Dynamic Lane Count Switching (DLCS), which can reduce GPU power consumption by up to 30 per cent by adjusting power on-the-fly.
