Within two weeks Gigabyte will present its G1-Killer X58 motherboard at CES 2011. This is a new premium enthusiast motherboard with a price tag of at least $299, the company teases it today by showing off a picture of the mainboard's ammo clip-shaped heatsink.
Seen below, the X58 'killah' has six DDR3 memory slots, three (green colored) PCI-Express slots that could be backed by a bridge chip (like Nvidia's nForce 200), and apparently six SATA 3.0 Gbps and two SATA 6.0 Gbps ports. Did we mention the ammo clip cooler?
