Funniest security blunders of the year

PC Tools has released a list of some of the funniest security blunders of 2010, you can read it at Neowin.
  • Justin Bieber; The number 1 searched person online in 2010. An online contest was rigged to send the star to tour in North Korea in July 2010.

  • Lady Gaga/Kesha; Both in the top 10 musicians searched of 2010. Kesha and Lady Gaga, along with 48 other pop stars’ computers were breached, resulting in illegal download of unreleased songs, photographs, video clips, e-mails and bank card information in December 2010.

  • Unemployment; 9th most popular news item searched in 2010, cybercriminals are creating fake news reports and employment opportunities to get people to give away personal and financial information in December 2010.
