Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 HOF features digital power supply tech

Expreview published a truckload of pictures of the Galaxy GeForce GTX 460 HOF (Hall of Fame) graphics card. This new model features digital power supply technology and has a white PCB. It uses a 6-pin + 8-pin power design and is equipped with a DisplayPort output. The cooling solution features four 6mm copper heatpipes, a copper base, a large aluminium fin array and a compact fan.
GeForce GTX 460 HOF packs GF104 core,features 336 stream processors,1GB GDDR5 memory,core/Shader/memory clock of 850/1700/1000MHZ(Date rate of 4000MHz) with memory interface of 256-bit.

The graphics card adopts tantalum capacitors and 6+2 phase power supply design with six phase for core while two phase for memory. As for core power supply solution,it is made up by VT1185M main controller chip,six VT1157SF subsidiary controller chips and Bussmann CPL power inductor.
