HardwareCanucks discovered Corsair will introduce an expensive 2.1 PC gaming speaker system at CES:
The SP-2500 2.1 Speaker System has 232W RMS of continuous power delivery through six Class D amplifiers. The set pairs two bi-amplified satellites with 3″ drivers and 1″ ferrofluid-cooled silk dome tweeters , along with an 8″ subwoofer in a fourth-order bandpass enclosure. The set also has a wired desktop controller with 1.8″ (4.6cm) color TFT display and multi-lingual interface.

It appears the speakers have already hit a few store shelves in Asia, and a few retailers in the USA. We expect the Corsair Gaming Audio Series SP2500 2.1 series speaker set to be officially announced during CES 2011 next week. Retail price is $259.99 USD.
