TPU snapped a picture of Patriot Memory's Wildfire SSD. This new storage device uses a SATA 6Gbps controller and will be available in capacities of 60GB, 120GB and 240GB. The specifications are unknown.
Wildfire could use any of the many SATA 6 Gb/s compliant SSD controllers out there, the most notable being SandForce SF-2582 and Marvell 9174, to provide transfer speeds in excess of 500 MB/s.
