ATI to roll out 512MB graphics cards this month

Posted on Monday, May 02 2005 @ 18:46:18 CEST by

By the end of the month we will probably start seeing the first graphics cards from ATI with 512MB RAM. Both the X850 and X800 cards will start featuring 512MB of memory.

It is expected that boards with 512MB will be about $100 to even $200 more expensive as the current 256MB models.

And eventually we'll also start seeing lower-end cards with 512MB RAM. More info at The Inquirer
