Cisco has introduced a new line of unified network security products to help businesses to simplify network management and to decrease costs. The new ASA 5500 series are based on the self-defending offerings from Cisco, which identify and stop network attacks before they spread.
"Now with one single platform you can manage and concurrently control all of these security functions in one place," Jayshree Ullal, senior vice president of Cisco's security technology group, told Reuters.
The ASA 5500 line will become available in May and aims at corporate customers. The price range of these devices will range from $3,500 to $17,000. More info at Reuters
