Seasonic shows off 80Plus Platinum PSUs at CeBIT

Seasonic presented the P-1000XP and P-860XP at CeBIT, two new 1000W and 860W power supplies with 80Plus Platinum rating. This means these units have an efficiency of at least 94 percent at half load (92 percent at 115V). Both units promise to be relatively quiet and are equipped with six PCIe connectors. The 860W model is priced at 220EUR and the 1000W model has a 270EUR MSRP, but availability is unknown.

Additionally, Seasonic also showed off the X-1050XM and X-1250XM with 80Plus Gold rating. These units achieve a 92 percent efficiency at half load (90 percent at 115V), the 1250W model has eight PCIe connectors and is expected to cost around 280EUR, while the 1050W version offers six PCIe connectors and is expected to retail for around 230EUR.
