Apple launches iTunes in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland

Apple today opened online iTunes music stores in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.

The company says songs from four major music companies and from more than 1,000 independent record labels will be available from the new iTunes stores.

In Switzerland Apple cooperates with UBS to give each Swiss citizen access to a few free songs. Song cards can be picked up at Swiss UBS branches.

Apple's iTunes is now available in 19 countries.
