The Xbox 360 will be presented tomorrow night at 9:30 p.m. EST by Microsoft and MTV at an event in Los Angeles. The console hasn't even been presented yet but pictures and detailed specifications of Microsoft's next-generation Xbox already appeared on the web a few days ago.

We learned for instance that it will use a triple-core IBM PowerPC running at 3.2GHz with 1MB L2 cache. Each core runs two hardware threads and has a VMX-128 vector unit.

The graphics solution comes from ATI with a core running at 500MHz and 10MB eDRAM to deliver High Definition image quality. Embedded DRAM can be compared to the cache memory of a processor, it will help to overcome the memory bandwidth problem in graphics solutions, to deliver full screen 1280x720 anti-aliasing with almost no performance impact. Lots of other leaked specifications regarding the Xbox 360 can be found here
