DigiTimes heard Acer will introduce its 7-inch Iconia Tab A100 tablet in late April or May 2011. This model uses the NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC and features Android 3.0.
The 7-inch model adopts Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor and Google Android 3.0, and is manufactured by Compal Electronics, the sources added, but Compal declined to comment about its clients.

Although Acer already revealed a 7-inch tablet PC at a press conference in New York at the end of 2010, since the device was still not yet fully complete, the company did not allow attendees to test the machine; however, as Acer will soon launch the device, the sources expect the company to have fierce competition against Samsung's Galaxy Pad in Europe.
