Microsoft today announced its Xbox 360 will have backward compatibility for older Xbox games. The company also announced it has made a deal with Square Enix to develop Final Fantasy XI for the Xbox 360.
Soon after the launch of the next-generation console from Microsoft there will be between 25 and 40 games available for the Xbox 360, with more than 160 games under development.
The Xbox 360 will retail in the United States in late November. The European and Japanese launch will follow within six weeks.
