"VIA to launch Pentium M compatible CPU"

The Inq heard VIA is developing a new CPU that will be compatible with the Socket479 platform. Thus it should be compatible with the Pentium M.

Some tier one motherboard makers will support this PC and one Taiwanese company is already working on a design. Much isn't know about this CPU but it will probably be a cool processor that won't use a lot of power.

Probably it will be presented at VIA's technology show that will take place side by side with Computex.
