Sony PlayStation 3 to have same launch price as PS2?

Speculation has raised that Sony might launch the PS3 with the same price as the PS2 five years ago. A new report states the PS3 will likely cost under 40,000 yens ($370) at launch.

Prices of the next-generation Xbox console from Microsoft and the Revolution from Nintendo are unknown but both will likely cost less than Sony's PS3. More details at GameSpot
