Intel shows solar-powered PC, promises bettery battery life

Engadget saw Intel presenting a solar-powered PC running Windows during the IDF keynote in San Francisco. The system ran on a 22nm Haswell prototype, a chip that promises to reduce power consumption by 20x compared to current designs. Haswell will help ultrabooks to achieve ten days of connected standby by 2013.
