eBay to acquire shopping.com

ebay announced it will acquire Shopping.com for $21 per share, or $620 million. The company says acquiring Shopping.com will give eBay the ability to provide even more opportunities for its sellers.

Bill Cobb, president of eBay North America, said Shopping.com's comparison technology simplifies the online shopping experience. He further adds that the Epinions review feature from Shopping.com will also be a great match for eBay.
