2GB iPod shuffle to be presented tomorrow

Apple will likely introduce 2GB and maybe 4GB iPod shuffle models tomorrow at its World Wide Developers Conference in San Francisco. NAND flash memory makers Samsung and Toshiba recently announced higher capacity which makes it likely that Apple will present new iPod shuffle players with more storage capacity.

Some sources believe Apple these higher capacity flash players (perhaps with a display) will become available this summer. But other sources claim Apple will only introduce a 2GB iPod shuffle, since 4GB NAND flash memory is still way too expensive.

It's also possible Apple will present the Motorola iTunes phone on Monday.
