Zignum reveals bamboo laptop coolers

Posted on Monday, January 23 2012 @ 22:45:26 CET by

Zignum announced two laptop coolers made out of bamboo, the Bamboo One (COO-ZGLP-E1-15.BM) and Bamboo Two (COO-ZGLP-E2-15.BM).

The Bamboo One (first photo) measures 350mm x 313.5mm x 62.5mm, it weighs 1.278kg and has a 140mm Hydro bearing fan that delivers 47.35CFM at a noise level of 21dBA. This model will retail for 39.90EUR (incl. 19% VAT).
These unique laptop coolers not only have a bamboo look, but are made almost entirely of renewable bamboo, including the fan. Integrated, fold-out supports allow users to adjust the height and angle to their individual requirements. Below the bamboo surface there are one or two 140 mm fans to ensure efficient, low-noise cooling. Both coolers are suitable for laptops of up to 39.6 cm (15.6").
The Bamboo Two (second picture) measures 354mm x 292mm x 66mm and weighs 1.248kg, this model is equipped with two 140mm Hydro bearing fans that deliver an airflow of 94.7CFM at a noise level of 25.1dBA. This model also has an additional USB port. The MSRP of this version is 49.90EUR (incl. 19% VAT).
