Intel will introduce a budget version of the 945 chipset, the 945GZ, for the mainstream market. The 945GZ will be a downgraded version of the Intel 945P/G chipsets with support for only 533MHz and 800MHz FSB, and no support for 1066MHz FSB. It will also only support single-channel DDR2 memory and won't have an Embedded PCIe port.

Volume production of the 945GZ is planed for the first quarter of next year. More info at DigiTimes
