Mitac to launch Mio 269 with 2.5GB HDD

Last week at Computex Mitac was presenting the new Mio 269 PDA with built-in GPS module. One of the advantages of this PDA is its built-in 2.5GB HDD to store a large amount of maps - or other data such as MP3s.

Specifications:
  • CPU: Intel Xscale 300MHz
  • Display: 3.5-inch Transflective LCD screen with LED Backlight
  • Resolution: 320x240 pixels, 65k colors, QVGA resolution, Landscape
  • Memory: 32MB Flash ROM, 64MB SDRAM
  • HDD: 2.5GB with 2GB of maps pre-installed (for Europe). 500MB is available for MP3 files
  • GPS: built-in GPS module, SiRFStarII chip with Xtrack
  • Size: 138 x 72-78 x 26mm
  • Weight: 232g
