Samsung filed an injunction against LG claiming the company stole trade secrets by luring ex-Samsung employees to work for the company. Samsung seeks a compensation of 1 billion won (approx. $882,000).
Both LG and Samsung have been developing OLED screens for a number years and the display technology is extremely popular in smartphones due to its low power and vibrant colour saturation. Now Samsung has claimed that LG acquired its trade secrets by luring ex-employees to work for the company and is seeking compensation of 1bn won.

Back in July, 11 people including current Samsung employees were indicted on charges of leaking confidential information from Samsung to LG. Samsung then asked LG to issue an apology over this matter.
