EK Waterblocks introduces the EK-FC7850, a new waterblock for reference design based Radeon HD 7850 graphics cards. The block will be available on September 14th in Nickel Plexi and Nickel Acetal versions. It's a nearly full-coverage block with waterflow directly over the GPU and RAM areas, and with passive cooling for the VRM.
This water block directly cools the GPU and RAM as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM (passively cooled) to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC7850 water block also features a very high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps. Base is made of nickel plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of quality cast satin finish acrylic or POM Acetal material (depending on the variant). Screw-in brass standoffs are pre-installed and allow for safe, painless installation procedure.

Up to four EK-FC7850 series water block can be interconnected with EK-FC Bridge & Link system. Moreover this water block also lines up with EK-FC7870 which further expands the users choice of graphics cards. The connection link (EK-FC Link) is enclosed with each water block.
The plexi+nickel version has a price tag of 80.95EUR while the acetal+nickel version costs 86.95EUR.
