Galaxy shows custom GeForce GTX 660 and 650

Galaxy shows off its new graphics cards, including reference-based cards as wel as custom models.

The GeForce GTX 660 GC 2GB has a custom cooler. Clockspeeds are unknown, Galaxy's website was down at press time.

The improved power handling and ultra-efficient cooling of Galaxy’s custom design deliver enhanced overclock potential and energy efficiency. The end result is better performance, low power requirements, and a fantastic overall value.

Similar to the Ti version, the foundation of the GTX 660 GC is a Galaxy custom PCB with significant design improvements, including an improved layout for more efficient signal path, high quality shielded inductors to maintain cleaner signal and eliminate coil whine, and thru-board ventilation to help keep power regulating components cool. The Galaxy Force Air bracket has been included as well to further facilitate the removal of heat from the system.
