Microsoft Updates package installer for faster downloads

From now on Microsoft Update will be faster as the company decided to release a new update that will place a permanent copy of the Package Installer on end user's PCs. This will result in smaller, and thus faster downloads.
The resident installer will not strip redundant code from software updates released before it went into production, but will allow for smaller downloads in the future, Microsoft says.
