TRENDnet debuts 2MP Night Vision IP camera

TRENDnet introduces the TV-IP262PI, a new fixed-dome night vision IP camera with a 2MP resolution. The camera has a MSRP of $439.99.
TRENDnet, a best-in-class wired and wireless networking hardware brand, today announces the availability of the Two Megapixel PoE Day / Night Dome Internet Camera, model TV-IP262PI-A powerful night vision dome camera which captures highly detailed video image quality.

The tamper resistant TV-IP262PI produces vivid 1280 x 1024 pixel (H.264 compression format) video in complete darkness for distances of up to 12 meters (40 feet). Manually pan the camera side-to-side and tilt it up-and-down to fix its final viewing position. No need to install this camera near a power source, power and data are received through a single Ethernet cable using Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology. Integrated cabling allows for easy wall / ceiling mounting and the off-white IP camera housing blends into most environments.

Define up to three motion detection windows with email alert, image snapshot, and continuous recording triggers. Schedule recording sessions and define video storage location with Samba client support. Other features include two-way audio support (mic and speaker sold separately), date / time text overlay, mask overlay to conceal sensitive areas, and image flip capabilities for upside down installations. Setup recording schedules from the camera or using the included industry leading SecurView Pro camera management software.
