ATI today introduced the new All-In-Wonder X800 XL graphics card. ATI is now enabling full support for Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition with the current All-In-Wonder family. All-In-Wonder X800 XL for PCI Express will be available in both North America and Europe later this summer.

For European customers, All-In-Wonder X800 XL PCI Express will enable analog TV reception along with reception of Digital Video Broadcasting for Terrestrial (DVB-T) television transmissions. DVB-T is becoming the major form of TV broadcast transmissions in Europe. It offers more channels and delivers a better picture and sound quality through a conventional antenna instead of a cable or satellite dish connection.

All-In-Wonder X800 XL PCI Express continues to deliver the high-quality features found in the All-In-Wonder family of products. New aspects of the multimedia video card include:

-- Multimedia Center(TM) integrated software suite creates a true multimedia experience with Eazylook(TM) (a distance user interface for easy to read on-screen information for TV and DVDs), plus TV and FM-On-Demand(TM) for saving radio music to MP3 files. Multimedia Center also includes integrated DVD Burning capabilities allowing for media creation done faster than real time;

-- Radeon X800 XL delivers graphics performance with 400 MHz engine and 256MB 490 MHz memory for exciting gameplay experiences;

-- For North America, the ATI TV tuner design provides instant viewing of up to 125 channels of cable or antenna broadcasts. The tuner also enables high-quality reception for FM radio broadcasts;

-- For Europe, the ATI TV tuner will enable analog, DVB-T and FM tuning capabilities while supporting SCART (Syndicat des Constructeurs d'Appareils Radiorecepteurs et Televiseurs) connectivity to televisions;

-- New uniquely designed "domino-style" connector dongles offer innovative modular input and VGA plus DVI-I monitor output connectivity for flexibility and easily accessible combinations; and,

-- ATI's third-generation radio-frequency remote control device, Remote Wonder(TM) Plus, allows for complete computer control with the benefits of wireless connectivity. A 50 per cent reduced price coupon for a Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition remote control is also included.

In addition to the previously mentioned features, North American versions also will include:

-- Serious Magic Visual Communicator video production software that integrates real time video with real time 3D graphics;

-- muvee autoProducer DVD Edition automatic video production software that enables users to quickly and easily create home music videos;

-- Pinnacle Studio 9 (ATI Version) digital video editing with additional ATI-based features; and,

-- Gemstar's GuidePlus+ intelligent free integrated program guide (North America only) to view, search, schedule and record.
