Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx 11.6-inch Windows 8 hybrid revealed

Lenovo previews the IdeaTab Lynx, a 11.6" Windows 8 tablet that can be converted into a laptop with an optional $150 keyboard docking station. The sytem has a IPS screen with a brightness of 400 nits, a dual-core Intel "Clovertrail" based Atom processor, 2GB DDR3 memory, 32/64GB SSD, micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports, microSD memory card slot, and a 2MP webcam.

The device has a battery life of up to 8 hours and the docking station doubles this to 16 hours thanks to a built-in 6800mAh battery. The IdeaTab Lynx is 9.45mm thick and weighs 1.4 pounds (635g).

You can expect it in retail stores by December with prices starting at $600.
