NVIDIA to release GeForce 7800 GT later this week?

VR-Zone claims NVIDIA is going to launch the GeForce 7800 GT later this week. It is expected that the GeForce 7800 GT will feature 24 pixel pipelines and 8 vertex shaders just like the 7800 GTX, but core and memory clock speeds will be lower.

The 7800 GT will likely run at 335MHz with memory clocked at 1.1GHz.

With a price tag of approx. $499 it will be $100 cheaper than the GeForce 7800 GTX.
