NZXT delivers its Respire CPU coolers

Posted on Tuesday, November 13 2012 @ 15:59:54 CET by

NZXT introduces two new direct-touch processor coolers; the Respire T20 and the Respire T40. The T20 measures 124(W) x 160(H) x 65(D) mm and weighs 510g (with fan), it has three direct-touch heatpipes, one with a diameter of 8mm and two with a 6mm diameter. The aluminium fin array has a fin thickness of 0.4mm, the fin gap is 2.2mm and airflow is provided by a 120mm fan that delivers up to 68.8CFM at a noise level of 34.0dBA. A speed adapter is included in the kit, this reduces the airflow to 49.3CFM and the noise level to 26.5dBA.

The T40 is the T20's larger brother, it measures 134(W) x 160(H) x 85(D) mm and weighs 750g. It has four direct-touch heatpipes with a diameter of 8mm, an aluminium fin array with 0.4mm fins and 2.0mm fin gap, and the same 120mm fan and speed adapter as the T20.

Pricing is $29.99 for the T20 and $39.99 for the T40. Both coolers are compatible with Intel Socket 2011, 1366, 1155, 1156, 775 and AMD FM1, AM3, AM3+, AM2+, AM2 CPUs
Affordable, high performance air cooling is now available with NZXT’s latest addition to its growing CPU cooler product line. NZXT introduces the Respire Series: aluminum-fin heatsinks utilizing seamless direct touch (SDT) technology for maximum cooling efficiency.

Last year, NZXT entered the CPU cooler market with its powerful Havik 120 and Havik 140 CPU coolers. In October, NZXT released the Kraken, the world’s first all-in-one 140mm and 280mm liquid coolers. For its latest cooler, NZXT poured all of its resources into one simple goal: maximizing cooling efficiency.

Designed for entry-level builders and enthusiasts alike, NZXT’s Respire proves you don’t need to break the bank for powerful CPU cooling. With an MSRP of $29.99, the Respire T20 is equipped with one 8mm and two 6mm direct touch heat pipes applied using a patented manufacturing process which allows for the maximum amount of heat pipes in the smallest area possible.

Priced at $39.99, the Respire T40 incorporates four 8mm direct touch heat pipes manufactured using the same patented process. This process helps the Respire series achieve its ultra-high thermal transfer performance.

Compatible with all of Intel and AMD’s latest offerings, NZXT’s Respire series offers high performance air cooling to all. Both models are backed by a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty.
