TPU came across details about Bay Trail-T, an upcoming tablet platform from Intel that features the Valleyview-T SoC. This platform is anticipated to hit the market in 2014 and continues to use the 22nm process. The platform promises up to 60 percent higher performance than Clover Trail chips, support for 2560 x 1600 pixel resolutions, up to 3x higher graphics performance, a standby battery life of 20 days and 11 hours of continuous video playback.
