Google launches Currency Conversion

Posted on Friday, July 08 2005 @ 11:21 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck
Google launched a currency conversion feature. You can use it by typing in keywords like in the following examples:
  • 3.5 USD in GBP
  • currency of Brazil in Malaysian money
  • 5 British pounds in South Korean money
  • Google doesn't disclose at it's website how many times a day the currency rates get updated. I compared the rates to a financial site and Google's appear to be delayed.

More details at Google's features page.
