Google launches Toolbar for Firefox

Google just released its popular Toolbar for Firefox. The Toolbar includes almost all features from its Internet Explorer brother, it only lacks the pop-up blocker but Firefox already includes one.

Google Toolbar for Firefox in 10 languages for three operating systems (Windows, Mac and Linux). Self-congratulatory urges aside, the developers of Toolbar for Firefox marvel at how well-suited the Firefox XUL programming language was to their task.

They say that a small team that had never worked together, or used XUL, were able to create a product quickly that works across languages and platforms from a single ~250K download.

Firefox users can now download the toolbar at http://toolbar.google.com/.
