Many classic games such as Doom, Duke Nukem 3D and now also Quake experience a second youth on mobile devices. A mobile version of Quake will soon be released for a next-generation of cell phones that incorporate NVIDIA GoForce and ATI Imageon graphics chips which will give mobile phones OpenGL functionality.

First the single-player game will be made available and later the two Quake expansion packs will be made available as added pay-for-content. Users will also be able to use Quake mods to enjoy a multiplayer session over Bluetooth.

Lots of screenshots can be found over at Bit-Tech. Quake Mobile will be released in the United States by the end of this year.
