According to jobs.intel.com, an Intel’s hiring web-site, the company is looking for as much as hundreds of new employees to fill various positions across different Intel manufacturing sites in the U.S. to serve the needs of the contract manufacturing division called Intel Custom Foundry. The positions that Intel wants to fill vary from design automation engineer to physical verification engineer and span across different manufacturing sites in the U.S., including those in Arizona and Oregon.
While the number of new employees proposed at Custom Foundry hardly points to any particular or possible deals with large customers (such as a one with Apple), they show a tendency that Intel completely confirms.
