The new keyboard uses a full suite of Cherry red key switches for a lightweight action and long key life. It also features a button for quickly disabling the Windows key to prevent accidentally exiting a game while playing, and the USB cable is removable. Also available are replacement clear keys, along with a key removal tool, for easily modifying the look of the keyboard.
The keyboard is clearly a budget design with a very lightweight, flexible feel to the chassis - almost disconcertingly so - but given it's generally the keys of a keyboard that go first we're sure it'll stand up to normal typing duties for plenty of time. There are also few extras with no backlighting or multimedia keys.
