Microsoft to reveal 8-inch Surface RT in June?

DigiTimes delivers news that Microsoft is anticipated to release its second-generation Surface RT tablet in June. The device reportedly has a 8" screen, it uses an NVIDIA Tegra SoC and has an estimated price tag of between $249 and $299.

The new Surface RT is manufactured by Pegatron Technology, using Nvidia's Tegra processor. However, because of the first-generation Surface RT's weak sales, and fierce competition in the 7- to 8-inch tablet market, most market watchers are conservative about the second-generation Surface tablets' performance.
