With a couple of months of delay, Be Quiet! announces the availability of the Shadow Rock 2 HSF. Originally anticipated to arrive in April, this cooler has a tower design with a copper base, four 8mm diameter heatpipes, and a large cubical stack of 51 aluminium fins. Airflow is provided by a 120mm SilentWings PWM fan, which provides up to 51CFM of airflow and a static pressure of 1.40 mmH2O at a noise level of 25.4dBA.

With fan included, the cooler measures 147mm x 122mm x 160mm and weighs a whopping 1.12kg. The specifications list a maximum TDP of 180W, and mounting tools are included for Intel LGA 775 / 1150 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366 / 2011 and AMD Socket 754 / 939 / 940 / AM2(+) / AM3 (+) / FM1 / FM2 processors.

The MSRP is 42.90EUR.
Features:

Exceptional Cooling Efficiency
  • Very high cooling benchmarks complement its high cooling capacity of 180W TDP
  • Four high-performance 8mm heatpipes carry heat to optimal location on the cooling fins

    Extremely Low-Noise Operation
  • Turbulence-reducing wave design on cooling fins reduces noise generation from airflow
  • Optimized 120mm be quiet! fan with PWM function supports the best balance of cooling performance and quiet operation
  • Even at 100% PWM function, noise is at scant 25.4dB(A)

    Highly Compatible, Highly Functional Design
  • Square, single tower design saves space and supports four-directional fan mounting for best heat convection
  • Compatibility with all current IntelĀ® and AMDTM sockets
  • Freely-selectable fan mount point is recommended for AMDTM users
