ASUS ROG RAIDR PCIe SSD coming soon

ASUS shows off the ROG RAIDR, a new PCI Express SSD that features two SSDs in RAID 0 on a single PCB. The device has a capacity of 240GB, it features two LSI SandForce SF-2281 controllers and 19nm Toshiba MLC Sync-NAND flash memory.

According to the specifications, the ROG RAIDR offers read speeds of up to 830MB/s, write speeds of up to 810MB/s and random 4k write performance of 100,000 IOPS. The storage disk features an enclosure with metal shielding and promises a 620,000 MTBF.

Pricing and availability is unknown.
