BIOS Magazine
wrote about a new Intel Centrino based notebook from Fujitsu-Siemens which has a battery life of 12.5 hours. The LifeBook C1320 is based on Intel's 915GM chipset and comes with a 15-inch standard or 15.4-inch widescreen display, dual-channel 533MHz DDR2 memory, a PCI Express card slot and Serial ATA support.
The system's modular bay device, AC adapter and Port Replicator are compatible with the LifeBook E and S Series as well as the Celsius H mobile workstation. The advanced Lithium-Ion battery technology allows the LifeBook C1320 to operate for up to 12.5 hours (with both batteries) without recharging. The aluminium frame, meanwhile, promises exceptional on-the-road stability for a mobile device weighing only 2.65kg.
Fujitsu-Siemens claims the LifeBook C1320 is 25 percent faster than its predecessor, the LifeBook C1110. Pricing starts at 2479EUR.
