AOL launches Mobile Search beta

AOL launched a beta version of a new search engine designed for mobile phone users.

The service allows users to link to normal webpages by reformatting them for mobile phones, using a technology from InfoGin. AOL is also cooperating with Yellow Pages to enable users to locate shopping information.

The search engine can be found at mobile.aolsearch.com
