Intel Devil's Canyon will work on some 8-series motherboards

Good news for computer enthusiasts as it appears you may not need a new motherboard for Intel's Devil's Canyon processors. Previously it was rumored that you'd need a 9-series motherboard for these processors but this is not the case, most 8-series motherboards will support the new chips after a BIOS update.

Head over to Intel's website to see which motherboards are compatible with the Core i7-4790K and Core i5-4690K.
