Samsung is close to launching the 850 EVO SSD, a new consumer SSD that will feature 3-bit 3D V-NAND flash memory and Samsung's updated triple-core processor. This new disk is expected to be a bit slower than the 850 Pro, the company's flagship, but promises a lower price per gigabyte. It will be interesting to see if Samsung is willing to offer the same 10-year warranty as the 850 Pro has with this drive.
