Sony to slash PS2 price to compete with Xbox 360?

I4U writes Sony may bug Microsoft's Xbox 360 console by slashing their Sony PS2 prices seriously.

It's rumoured Sony will slash prices for its slim PS2 to about $100 for this Christmas season. Additionally they also plan some major PS2 game releases to grab attention.

Currently the PS2 retails for $149 in the US.
