Microsoft Patch Tueday to offer 7 bulletins

Microsoft announced it will be rolling out seven security bulletins on December 9, 2014. This month's Patch Tuesday features three critical updates and four marked as important. The critical patches address remove code execution vulnerabilities in Windows and Internet Explorer.

Two of the important updates are for remote code execution flaws in Office, there's one for an information disclosure bug in Windows and also an elevation of privilege vulnerability in Exchange.

The Windows 7 operating system will be plugged by two critical and one important update, while Windows 8.x requires just one critical and one important update.
